The rendering style for the Sommerro hotel illustrations is inspired by the Norwegian art deco painter, Gerhard Munthe, whose expressive works are heavily steeped in Scandinavian folklore.
The historic 1930’s landmark, built in the era of Munthe, has been renovated as a cozy yet lavish hotel featuring a rooftop pool and bar, restaurants, and a wine bar.
